The City of Royal Oak offers a meaningful way to commemorate loved ones through our Memorial Tree Program. Donations are symbolic and do not imply ownership of the installed element.
Eligibility
• Any individual can purchase a Memorial Tree, however, the individual being honored with the tree must have had some affiliation with the City of Royal Oak. This affiliation can be: current or former residents; current or former business owners or employees of a business within Royal Oak; current or former city employees; or some meaningful relationship with any of the above.
• Donations will be placed in city parks.

Note:
Applications must be approved and paid for prior to Sept 11, 2026 to be included in the Fall 2026 tree planting. Please allow two weeks for application approval.
Any unapproved applications or trees not paid for by Sept 11 will be included in the Spring 2027 tree planting.
